Register for BSD Early Education
We are now accepting applications for the 2026–2027 school year.
Our team will begin reviewing applications on March 1, 2026, and families will be contacted as soon as a decision is made. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee placement, as all applications are reviewed based on program capacity and available space.
Enrolling your child in school is an exciting milestone, and we are here to support you throughout the process. Our dedicated staff is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for every child. Whether your child is joining us for the first time or transferring from another program, we look forward to partnering with you in their educational journey.
BEEP offers enrollment between two great locations:
Bush Early Education Center

Feeder Schools: Carrcroft, Forwood, Hanby, Lombardy, BrightBloom, Lancashire
BEEP at Darley
500 Darley Road
Wilmington, DE 19703
Feeder Schools: Claymont, Harlan, Maple Lane, Mount Pleasant
Your location is determined based on where you live, which is your feeder school. Find out which location is your feeder school using the Department of Education’s School Locator map. Please note that we do not participate in school choice. If you would like to request that your child attend a location outside of your feeder pattern, please reach out to our principal at erika.gunter@bsd.k12.de.us
Program Types:
Your child will automatically be placed based on age and/or developmental level. If you have a preference for a certain program type, please reach out to the location you are applying to once you have completed an application.
- Full-Day: 9:05 AM - 3:35 PM, $450 per month
- Half-Day AM: 9:05 - 11:35, $300 per month
- Half-Day PM: 1:05 - 3:35, $300 per month
- Children must be 3 years old by August 31, 2026, to enroll in our half-day program.
- Children must be 4 years old by August 31, 2026, to enroll in our full-day program.
Important Notice:
Only the following individuals are authorized to register a student:

Division of Family Services (DFS) employee acting on behalf of a foster parent
