About Us
BSD loves our littlest learners! We know that preschool builds a firm foundation for the beginning of a child's education. Whether you are joining us at the beginning of the year, or part way through, we welcome you wholeheartedly. We know that our program is often the first school experience for our students, which is an exciting transition as your child begins their educational journey! We are happy you are joining us and are excited to help your child grow, learn new skills and build foundations for a successful future.
In our program, we provide Special Education support for students beginning at age 3 and invite developmentally typical peers to join us as well!

Families of typical learners pay a reduced fee and provide their own transportation for their child to attend the program.

The special education program is funded through state agencies and transportation is provided by BSD.
The Brandywine School District Early Education Program serves three and four-year-old students in developmentally-appropriate early childhood classrooms. Using developmentally appropriate curriculums, we provide opportunities for all students to develop their gross motor skills, fine motor skills, language skills, cognitive skills and social/emotional skills through hands-on and engaging activities. By integrating students with special needs and students not requiring special services in our classrooms, all of our children benefit from the many unique opportunities this program offers.
We aim to create a safe, kind, inclusive, & helpful community so that all of our students have the environment to reach their full potential. Our mission is to accomplish this by providing high-quality instruction, promoting the growth of your child.

Our Brumskill Family Engagement Center is now home to the Child Find and Birth-to-Three Programs, operating as a hub for BSD’s early intervention opportunities.
